Weather
The Weather page allows you to set the weather factors for this field:
Use the Select Ballpark drop-down to choose a ballpark to edit. You can also change ballpark pictures here, as described on the Pictures & Coordinates page.
Note: The Action menu in the lower right was described on the Ballpark Editor overview page. Refer there if you need to know what those functions do!
Changing these values will directly impact the weather for games in this ballpark. Remember to hit Enter after changing any values to save your changes! The wind can also have an impact on games, especially home runs!
If you select a city on the right, you will overwrite any custom weather data for this ballpark, so be sure that's what you want to do!

Weather Data by Month

Weather Data Selector
OOTP comes pre-populated with a weather database that includes weather data for a large number of U.S. cities, displayed on the right:If you select a city on the right, you will overwrite any custom weather data for this ballpark, so be sure that's what you want to do!
Re-Import Weather Database
At the bottom of the page is a button called Re-Import Weather Database. Weather data can be customized outside of the game engine by editing the weather.txt file. If you have customized your weather data since the start of your league, you must re-import it in order for the changes to take effect.How Weather Affects Games in OOTP
Each game played outdoors has weather, which can affect player performance and also the risk of injury. Some of the effects of weather include:- Players may tire more quickly on extremely hot days
- Players may take a long time to get warmed up on cold days
- Pitchers may take more pitches to warm up on cold days
- Players are slightly more likely to suffer injuries in cold or rainy days
- Pitcher stamina is less when the weather is poor
